The City of Cold Lake is moving forward with plans to build an Aquatic Centre, applying for a $47 million federal grant to help with funding. Mayor Craig Copeland says the community has wanted a pool for years. The project, estimated at $93 million, will include various pools and a lazy river, all connected to the Energy Centre, with a potential completion date in 2029.
