A man is in custody after an alleged assault involving a shovel in Bonnyville.
RCMP say it happened Nov. 23 when a man riding a bike struck a pedestrian with a shovel he was carrying.
The 49-year-old suspect was arrested the next day and is charged with assault with a weapon and multiple counts of failing to comply with a previous court order.
He remains in custody and is set to appear in court on Dec. 3.Â
