It’s Day 27 of the strike by 55-thousand members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, and there’s no end in sight.
Canada Post is claiming the union’s latest proposals actually widen the gap between the two sides.
Management says they’ve made several important moves to reach a negotiated settlement, but add the union has reverted to their previous positions or increased their demands.
Calls for the federal government to intervene have been mounting…..but, so far, it’s refused to do so.
