GST Holiday Begins Today

If you’ve still got some Christmas shopping to do, you might be able to save a bit of money.
Ottawa’s holiday pause on G-S-T and H-S-T takes effect today.
The tax will be waived on things like prepared foods, certain snacks and alcoholic drinks. It also applies to kids’ clothing, footwear and some toys.
The pause is in effect until February 15th.
