City Of Cold Lake Taking Steps To Meet Housing Needs

The City of Cold Lake is taking steps to meet local housing needs by applying for a Local Growth and Sustainability Grant. The grant would cover half of the estimated $1.86 million cost for vital infrastructure, including roads and water systems, for a new housing development. If successful, the project will create about 84 housing units for around 218 residents in the South Outlet Plan. The development aims to provide affordable living spaces and support the area’s growth. City council passed a motion on December 10 to support the grant application, moving the project forward.
