The Snow Goose Festival is set to make its return to the Town of Tofield this April.
The event is a two day celebration of the spring migration through the Beaverhill Lake area. Everyone is welcome at the Festival, from first-time bird watchers to experienced birders.
Festival Co-Chair Organizing Committee member Geoff Holroyd says that the event is truly a special moment to honour our wildlife and mark the start of a new season.
The Snow Goose Festival will offer the chance to learn from biologists and naturalists about the significance of the wetland areas. The event will include on-site guided bus and walking tours, a trade show, and an evening banquet.
