Kalyna Country PCN urging vigilance when it comes to measles

With measles on the rise throughout the country, the Kalyna Country Primary Care Network here in Vegreville is urging people to be vigilant when it comes to symptoms of the virus.

Measles currently has no cure and can lead to a host of complications, including pneumonia and brain swelling.

If you think you may have measles and have two or more symptoms including fever, cough, and a rash, the KCPCN is encouraging folks to stay home and call Health Link at 811.

Virtual primary care provider appointments are available.
