Lamont County is excited to announce their Reeve’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament happening this year on August 22nd. The event is a chance for local businesses and the public to raise funds for programs within Lamont County. According to a press release from Lamont County, Reeve David Diduck says “Each year we have the opportunity to raise funds to support some very good causes. Funds from our tournament directly support residents and initiatives within and surrounding Lamont County.”
Proceeds from raffles, sponsorships, and tournament registration will all go toward these programs. Last year’s event raised $25,000 to support the food bank, school lunch programs, and mental health initiatives, according to the press release. Cost per person to register for this event is $160, which will include breakfast, lunch, supper, golf, and prizes.
