With Alberta’s wildfire season officially underway, the Town of Vegreville Fire Department is urging residents to use caution as the weather heats up.
Lieutenant with the Vegreville Fire Department Aiden Douglas-Krill says it’s crucial to follow all fire bans and restrictions.
Campfires must be properly doused by soaking, stirring, and re-soaking your fire pit.
Douglas-Krill goes on to say that recreational fire permits are required within the Town of Vegreville.
