With the threat of new tariffs set to be imposed by the US government on the Canadian auto industry in early April, the whole country, including Alberta and us here at home in Vegreville, are feeling the stress of times.
Mayor of the Town of Vegreville Tim MacPhee says that while it’s a tough economic situation right now, he encourages residents to continue to support local businesses and to buy Canadian whenever possible.
MacPhee goes on to say that it is the goal of Town Council to continue creating growth and prosperity within Vegreville, and that the focus this year remains seeing the introduction of more affordable housing options and new business construction.
