Alberta Open Farm Days is preparing for the 2025 edition of the event taking place this August.
The affair is a two day open house that happens across the province every summer, giving all members of communities throughout Alberta the chance to come together to visit local farms in their area. The goal of the event is to promote a deeper understanding of daily farm life, an appreciation of Alberta agriculture, and greater knowledge of where our food comes from.
Marketing Co-Ordinator for Alberta Farm Days Cameo Hanlon says that this yearly program is a unique educational experience that is open to people of all ages.
This year’s theme for the event is “Water, the lifeblood of every farm.”

Alberta Open Farm Days will take place this year on August 16th and 17th.
