The Alberta Dental Association says it’s ready to work with the province on a Made-in-Alberta dental care plan.
With the federal dental plan rolling out, the ADA says the system is confusing for patients and creates extra work for dental offices. They want a simpler, clearer plan that meets Alberta’s needs, especially with a shortage of dental staff in rural areas.
April is also Oral Health Month, and the ADA is reminding everyone to brush, floss, and take care of their teeth.
