Woman from Ardrossan dies following serious vehicle crash

A woman from Ardrossan has died following a serious crash that happened near Bonnyville on March 24. RCMP say it involved a pickup truck and a large sedan on Range Road 460.

Initial reports show the sedan failed to stop and hit the truck. Alcohol was later found to be a factor. Both drivers were taken to hospital, and while the truck driver is recovering, the woman driving the sedan passed away on April 4.

RCMP say no charges will be laid and extend their condolences to everyone affected.
