Alberta Health Services has confirmed a growing number of measles cases in the region, with 13 in Two Hills, one in Vegreville, and 21 total in the Central Zone.
At least four people visited public places while contagious. AHS is urging anyone who isn’t fully vaccinated to watch for symptoms and call 811 before visiting a healthcare facility.
Measles spreads through the air and can cause serious health complications.
