Online public engagement is now live for the Vegreville Flood Study launched by the Government of Alberta.
The engagement for this study is part of a larger initiative for four new flood studies, covering about 250 kilometers of river through seven municipalities. The focus of public engagement will be the draft flood inundation maps that support local emergency response as well as the draft flood hazard maps that define floodway and flood fringe areas, but all feedback is welcome.
