Portage College is launching a new program aimed at keeping future healthcare workers close to home.
The Pre-Health Sciences Certificate begins this fall in Lac La Biche and offers online, in-person, and hybrid classes. It’s designed to help students explore healthcare careers while building foundational skills to move forward.
College staff say it’s one more step toward improving access to care in rural Alberta.
