The Vegreville and District Family and Community Support Services are pleased to have the Sizzlin’ Summer Day Camp Program make its return this summer. The six week Camp is aimed at youth ages 6 to 12, and will begin on July 2nd and run until August 8th. The Program will include various activities throughout the summer, including games and swimming. Coordinator for the Sizzlin’ Summer Day Camp Paloma Troncoso-Veira says that in addition to the programming the FCSS will offer, she is pleased that a number of community organizations will provide their facilities and services for the Camp as well.
Troncoso-Veira also adds that the Program is exclusively designed for the well-being and enrichment of Vegreville’s youth, providing them with the activities and learning opportunities to have a great summer.
Registration for the Sizzlin’ Summer Day Camp will open on June 3rd, and will remain open for the duration of the Camp. Registration will be based on a “first come, first serve” basis, as there will only be 25 spots open per day. Cost per child per day is $20, and parents may register their child or children on days or weeks of their choosing. Registration forms are available on the Town of Vegreville website, or may be picked up in person at the Vegreville and District FCSS Office.
