The second month of the 2024 Powerline Baseball League season kicked off over the weekend.
The first game of June was on Saturday and it saw the Rosalind Athletics defeat The Rivals 7-6 at the Daysland Recreation Grounds.
Coming up tonight (June 4th) at 7pm – weather permitting – the Braves will welcome Rosalind to the Tofield Recreation Grounds.
The Athletics lead the PBL with a record of 5 and 1 so far, while Tofield is 1 and 4.
Meanwhile, the Vegreville Blue Jays have 2 wins and 2 losses this season and they are slated to play a pair of games on the road this week.
Vegreville will visit the Roadrunners in Camrose on Wednesday, before traveling to Tofield for a match up with the Braves on Thursday.
