Vegreville’s own Homestead Seniors Lodge is gearing up to host an Open House and Father’s Day BBQ this month. With some open spots now available, the Lodge has decided to arrange an open house for the residents of Vegreville to have a look around and gather some information about what the establishment may provide for those interested in joining the
community. Activity Coordinator for the Lodge Carmen Rae Bruce says that the event is a perfect opportunity for those who are interested or know someone who may be interested in what the Homestead Seniors Lodge is all about.
Bruce also mentions that the open house may provide insight into what daily life at the Lodge is like.
The Homestead Seniors Lodge Open House and Father’s Day BBQ will take place on Friday, June 14th from 1pm to 3pm. Cost per person to attend the BBQ is $5, and admission will include a hamburger, potato salad, dessert, and a drink. Funds from the BBQ will go toward future programming at the Lodge.
