Those looking to relive some of their childhood nostalgia will get the chance this month in Sherwood Park with the return of the YEGPIN Pinball and Arcade Expo. The four day event marks its 7th consecutive year in the Sherwood Park area, making its home this year at Millennium Place.
The Show will feature unlimited pinball play and arcade games on a free play floor, machines and parts available for purchase, and competitive pinball tournaments. The tournaments will be certified by the International Flipper Pinball Association and will give participants the chance to gain World Pinball Player Ranking points. A charity tournament will also be on-going throughout the weekend, with a portion of the proceeds raised going toward an organization chosen by YEGPIN. Last year, the tournament raised $5,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
The YEGPIN Pinball and Arcade Expo will take place Thursday, June 20th, and run until Sunday, June 23rd. For admission information and a complete list of pinball and arcade games available for play at the event, please visit www.yegpin.com.
