Oilers Stay Alive With Big SCF Game 4 Win, McDavid Sets New NHL Playoff Record

The Edmonton Oilers kept their season alive on Saturday, June 15th.

The Oilers demolished the Florida Panthers 8-1 at Rogers Place in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Connor McDavid had a goal and three assists while, Dylan Holloway scored twice and set up another.

The 27 year old McDavid leads the National Hockey League in points during these playoffs with 38 in 22 games and he has now set the NHL record for most assists in a single playoff run. McDavid has 32 which moves him past the previous record set by Wayne Gretzky who had 31 for the Oilers during the 1987-1988 campaign.

The Panthers lead in the best of seven Stanley Cup Final series is now three games to one.

Game 5 is coming up on Tuesday, June 18th at 6pm mountain time in Sunrise, Florida.
