The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village is gearing up to host an event called the Vintage Day Show and Shine this Sunday. The event will feature an array of classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors on display. In addition to the Show and Shine, dance group Swing Out Edmonton are set to perform, as well as musical entertainment from Edmonton Ukulele Circle. The historical village will also be open to visitors this day, where attendees may meet and interact with costumed interpreters, explore historic buildings, and celebrate summer in the open-air museum. Traditional Ukrainian food will be available and is prepared by the Friends of the Ukrainian Village Society. Other activities set for the day include a special pie auction in support of the Friends of the Ukrainian Village Society and their 40th anniversary celebrations, and awards handed out to vintage vehicles in the afternoon. The Vintage Day Show and Shine will take place on Sunday, June 23rd, from 10am to 4:30pm. Regular site admission fees will apply for this event. The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village kindly asks that for the on-going safety of visitors and livestock in the historical village, that attendees leave their pets at home.
