4 Wing Cold Lake is preparing to host the Cold Lake Air Show this July. The three day event kicks off with the Full Throttle Festival on Friday, July 19th in downtown Cold Lake. The Festival will feature various family activities, live entertainment, beer gardens, and a fly past. As the weekend rolls on, folks may take in the air shows at the Canadian Forces Base in Cold Lake, with demonstrations by the Skyhawks Parachute Team, the CF Snowbirds, and much more. Other activities set for the weekend include static displays, a classic car show, and a Kids’ Zone. While admission to the Full Throttle Festival is free, the other air shows throughout the weekend will require a ticket purchase.
