The Town of Vegreville is gearing up for a Party in the Park to celebrate Canada Day.
Michelle Gladys says there will be a market, there will be bouncy castles for the kids, face painting, mini golf, food trucks, and more.
She notes they have also secured some musical entertainment for the evening. Gladys says “We have singer Doug Robb coming out to perform. He is formerly the frontman for Canadian recording artist Ministry of Zen. Currently Edmonton’s premier cover band, Powerhouse. He has an extensive list of cover songs, as well as some originals. We also have New Wave Entertainment on site, and he will be playing music between sets and before and after.”
According to Gladys, about 40 vendors will be part of the Party in the Park market and you can go around getting your market passport stamped by participating vendors and enter into a draw for prizes.
Canada Day will also include the Colour Run at 6pm and fireworks at 11pm.
