The Town of Viking is looking forward to a very musical summer this year with an event called Music In The Park that will take place every Wednesday throughout July and August at Eastview Park. Terry Williams and Len Sakaluk from the Vegreville area will open the sessions at 5pm with a variety of music including pop, country, folk, and bluegrass styles. A Drumming Circle lead by Twyla Lehman is also scheduled for 6pm as part of the event, with no experience required. Those who have their own drum are encouraged to bring it along for the session. Snacks and hotdogs will also be available for purchase from the Viking Wings Hockey Club. The Music In The Park event kicks off Wednesday, July 3rd.
