The Vegreville Cultural Association is pleased to host the 51st Annual Pysanka Festival this July. The Festival is a three day celebration of Ukrainian heritage and culture, and is a beloved yearly summer event. President of the Association Curtis Zorniak says the organization is always thrilled to see the Festival return for another year.
Zorniak also adds that the Pysanka Festival would not be possible without the tireless efforts of the volunteers who donate their time and abilities to see that the event runs smoothly.
The 51st Annual Pysanka Festival will begin on Friday, July 5th and run until Sunday, July 7th at the Vegreville Agricultural Society Grounds. Activities set for the weekend include an Artist’s Showcase, a Cultural Band Showcase, a Farmer’s Food Market, Zabavas, and much more.
