The Viking Beaver Family and Community Support Services in conjunction with the Battle River School Division are pleased to host a drop-in summer program aimed at teens in Grades 6 to 9 this month. The program will run weekly throughout the summer and will include activities such as art, board games, practicing techniques that focus on mindfulness, and more. The event is an opportunity for teens to connect with peers and engage in fun and interactive activities that help promote positive mental health. The program will begin on Tuesday, July 9th from 1pm to 2:30pm at the Viking Beaver FCSS office in Viking. This drop-in program is free of charge, and no pre-registration is required. For more information, please contact Stacey at smclennan@brsd.ab.ca, or visit the Viking Beaver FCSS Facebook page.
