A report of suspicious activity in progress has led Fort Saskatchewan RCMP to make a pair of arrests.

As a result, a 31 year old man from Edmonton, David Richard St. Germain, and a 31 year old man from Spruce Grove, Emmanuel Kafui Mawusi, face one count each of break and enter with intent, and possession of stolen property over $5,000 dollars. They both have court dates set for August 15th in Fort Saskatchewan.

Mounties say just after 9:30am on June 27th a stolen vehicle was located by a Fort Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic and Crime Reduction Unit (TCRU) member at a motel on 93rd Avenue and 99th Street in Fort Saskatchewan.

Police observed two suspects run out of the back of the motel into a residential area.
