The Bruce Stampede is set to kick off this weekend for it’s 110th anniversary. The event is Canada’s oldest one day pro-rodeo, hosting riders, ropers, and racers of all ages. Along with rodeo events, the Stampede also offers a host of fun family friendly activities for all members of the community throughout the weekend. Spokesperson for the Mule Racing Cheryl Lutz says that she is excited to see the 45th annual Mule Race happen on Saturday at 12:30pm.
Other activities slated for the weekend include beer gardens, a pancake breakfast on Sunday, and a horseshoe tournament. The Bruce Stampede will take place July 26th, 27th, and 28th at the Bruce Stampede Grounds.
