The Tofield Agricultural Society is pleased to host another year of Tofield Western Days which kicked off yesterday. The event is a celebration of everything agricultural, rural living, and community. Thursday’s activities started off with a bang including a Food Truck Fair, kids activities, and a Bull Bash. Chairman of the Rodeo for Tofield Western Days Rick Neufeld says that this yearly affair is a terrific event for families and continues to be a successful fundraiser for the Ag Society.
Neufeld adds that Western Days could not be possible without the tireless efforts of the volunteers who help bring the event to life each year.
The action continues tonight with a promenade and street fair from 5 to 9pm and a Rodeo Slack at 6pm. Saturday and Sunday will see a pancake breakfast, rodeo performances, and a dance with a live band. Tickets are available for purchase by visiting the Tofield Agricultural Society website, or on-site at the Tofield Sportsgrounds. Tofield Western Days is on now until Sunday.
