Jasper Wildfire Complex Officially Downgraded

The Town of Jasper re-opened to residents last Friday, August 16^th. Over the weekend, over 800 people visited the re-entry support centre at Commemoration Park. The wildfire has now been officially downgraded from out-of-control to being held. Jasper is expected to receive rainfall over the coming days, which should aid firefighters in accessing new areas to put out hot spots.
