The Town of Vegreville will see its historic train station transformed into an Airbnb and Event Hosting Facility in the coming months. The station, which was first constructed in 1930, is currently being renovated by owner Ellen Dunn. Dunn says that it was in fact her son who first came up with the idea.
Dunn adds that the work on the building has been extensive, and that she is truly excited by the transformation she sees taking place.
Folks that are interested in taking a tour of the building may do so by contacting Ellen Dunn. Dunn also mentions that while renovations are still taking place, the main floor is ready to go for anyone who might be looking to rent a location for a meeting or presentation. While there is no exact timeline yet on when the station will open as an Airbnb, Dunn is hoping to unveil the building as soon as possible.
