Four decades of critical medical care are being celebrated with official launch of the 2025 edition of the STARS Calendar. President and CEO of STARS Katherine Emberly says this year marks their 40th anniversary, and the 32nd year of the Calendar. She also says she is happy with the progress the organization has made over the years, and is especially pleased with the Fleet Renewal Program that was introduced in 2018.
Emberly mentions that the 2025 STARS Calendar will revisit items such as Very Important Patients and STARS Medical Crew Features that were included in previous editions, highlighting updates on where they might be now, and how their journeys have evolved.
The 2025 STARS Calendar is available for purchase on their website at stars.ca, or may be purchased at any Viterra location.
Emberly also notes that the funds collected from sales of the Calendar go toward their everyday operations.
STARS runs across the three prairie provinces with bases in Calgary, Edmonton, Grand Prairie, Regina, Saskatoon, and Winnipeg.
