The Vegreville and Area Stands With Ukraine Committee is pleased to announce that they are the recepients of one of the 2024 Minister’s Awards for Municipal and Public Library Excellence. The official announcement came at the Town Council Meeting on August 19th.The Committee is an organization that provides Vegreville and the surrounding area with an opportunity to get the latest information on the local donation centre, events, as well as fundraising and housing efforts for the support of Ukrainians both here and in Ukraine. Mayor Tim MacPhee says he was thrilled to hear that the organization was receiving the award, and is proud to see the efforts of the volunteers and committee members recognized in this way.
