The Alberta Health Services Mobile Mammography Screening is making its way to the Town of Killam this week. Testing will be available by appointment only from September 12th to 14th at the Killam Health Care Centre. While testing is open to all women, the AHS encourages women between the ages of 45 and 74 to maintain regular mammography screenings. The goal of these test screenings is the early detection of breast cancer, when treatment may be the most effective. To make an appointment, please call 1-800-667-0604.
