The Kinette Club of Vegreville is gearing up for the 43rd annual Terry Fox Run this weekend. The event is an annual fall tradition in Canada, with more than 650 communities across the country fundraising for cancer research. Chairperson for the Kinette Club Terry Fox Run Brandy Stefan says that this year’s theme for the Run is “No Matter What”, taking inspiration from Fox’s determination.
The Vegreville Terry Fox Run is slated to take place on Sunday, September 15th starting at the Vegreville Aquatic and Fitness Centre at 10am. For more information on the Terry Fox Run or to make a donation online, visit terryfox.org.
