Habitat For Humanity Hosts Event For Affordable Homeownership Program In Cold Lake

On September 12, Habitat for Humanity celebrated a special day in Cold Lake as new homeowners received keys to their homes through the affordable homeownership program. The event, held at 5002 54 Avenue, was supported by the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation, the Government of Alberta, the City of Cold Lake, and Value Master Homes. 

With Alberta investing $400,000, the project aims to help 25,000 low-income households by 2031. The new homeowners expressed their gratitude, thrilled to have a place to call their own, complete with backyards and space to grow.
