Premier Danielle Smith plans to make a dinner-hour address to Albertans this evening.
But, unlike past such events, it’s not clear what the topic will be.
The government statement says only that it will be a “plan to support Alberta families.”
Political observers say Smith may use the opportunity to bash the federal Liberal government, now that they’re truly in a minority position with Parliament back in session.
She’s among those urging the opposition parties to vote for an upcoming Conservative non-confidence motion aimed at forcing an early federal election.
