More bad news for the federal Liberals after two byelections yesterday.
The party lost a stronghold in Montreal to the Bloc Quebecois by a very narrow margin, and a recount may be held.
The NDP held onto their seat in Winnipeg, but by a much closer result than the last federal election.
The Conservatives finished in second place.
In a July byelection, the Liberals went down to defeat at the hands of the Conservatives in Toronto.
