Fatal Car Crash West Of St. Paul

A fatal crash occurred west of St. Paul on Highway 29 near Saddle Lake Cree Nation on the morning of September 20. St. Paul RCMP responded to a 911 call around 7:30 a.m. after a midsized SUV collided with the back of a school bus. The 46-year-old driver of the SUV died at the scene, but no children were on the bus at the time. The RCMP’s Forensic Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the accident. The driver’s name will not be released.
