The Andrew Rural Academy is pleased to announce that they have received official Ministerial approval for the 2025-2026 school year. The school will have a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, or STEM, programming.
Foundation Chair for the Academy Jason Tkachuk says that while there is still a lot of work to be done before the school opens in September, receiving approval from the province is a major piece of the puzzle set in place.
He goes on to say that the unveiling of the Academy has been a huge boost for the Village of Andrew, and that the Foundation is committed to keeping the school locally owned and run by the community.
Parents are now able to officially enroll their child in Andrew Rural Academy by accessing the Enrollment Form at andrewruralacademy.ca. Daily updates about the school are being posted to the Andrew Rural Academy Facebook page.
