The County of Minburn is conducting a hamlet and road clean-up pilot program this spring.
The goal of the program is to have non-profit and community groups come out to help remove unwanted litter from the hamlets, while fundraising for their non-profit group or charity.
Clean-up areas for the program will include the Hamlet of Lavoy, Hamlet of Ranfurly, and the Hamlet of Minburn. The County will donate $500 to each participating organization.
Reeve of the County of Minburn Roger Konieczny says that these efforts will go a long way to help improve the look of our community.
Applications are now being accepted for the Hamlet Clean-Up Program. Preference will be given to organizations and associations that reside within the County of Minburn. Application deadline is April 18th, and clean-up is slated to take place the first two weeks of May, weather permitting.
