Cold Lake RCMP have arrested a man who was in possession of an imitation handgun.
At about 7:50am on Wednesday (May 29th), police received a report of a male carrying a handgun at the A & W restaurant in Cold Lake.
Mounties arrived, and arrested a male matching the description in the report. During a search of the man, a black air-pistol was found in his possession.
A 28 year old resident of Cold Lake faces charges including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, and three counts of failure to comply with a weapons prohibition.
He was released on conditions and is set to appear in court in Cold Lake on June 19th.
