There are still some vacancies on the Board for the Vegreville Centennial Library.
Library Manager Kira Chalupa explains who they are hoping to hear from as their search for board members continues. She says “So, especially if you are a resident of the County of Minburn and are interested in joining the board, please reach out. I can put you in contact with the Board Chair and they can provide you with all sorts of lovely information and details.”
Meanwhile, the Vegreville Centennial Library Board is holding a fundraiser and book drive this weekend.
They will be set up on Saturday, June 15th from 11am until 2pm at the Vegreville & District Co-op.
Chalupa says they will gratefully accept donations of books in good condition.
Hot dogs will be available for $3, hamburgers are $4.50, cheeseburgers are $5 dollars, and cold drinks can be had for a loonie.
