The 34th annual Hairy Hill Rodeo is taking place today (July 5th) and tomorrow (July 6th).
It is a Lakeland Rodeo Association and Wildrose Rodeo Association sanctioned event.
This evening it all starts at 6pm with a dance to follow at 9 o’clock.
Day 2 of the Hairy Hill Rodeo starts tomorrow morning with a pancake breakfast from 8 until 11am.
There is rodeo slack at 9am, a heavy horse pull at 1 o’clock, and the second and final full rodeo performance of the weekend is on Saturday at 4pm.
There is free camping and spectators are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.
