The Myrnam Agricultural Society along with the Myrnam Ukrainian Dance Club and Myrnam Seniors are excited to host this year’s Myrnam Fun Days Event celebrating 50 years in the community this weekend. The event will take place on Friday, July 19th, and Saturday, July 20th at various locations throughout the Village. Organizer of the celebration Dave Yackimec says that he is honoured to see the Society, Dance Club and Seniors commemorate 50 years of community spirit.
Activities scheduled for the weekend include a steak and chicken supper, a Show and Shine event, parade, and perogy lunch at the Seniors Centre. A free 50th anniversary performance by the Myrnam Ukrainian Dancers will take place on Saturday at 2pm at the Myrnam Hall. Tickets will be available for purchase at CJ’s Cafe, Myrnam Convenience Store, ATB, or at the door.
