The Canadian National Railway has informed the Town of Vegreville that there will be an increase in the amount of trains running through Town in the coming weeks. As such, the Town is reminding residents and visitors at the Vegreville Municipal Campground to be safe and mindful while near railways.
The Town would also like to issue a reminder that crossing rail tracks anywhere other than at designated crossings is not only extremely dangerous, but that violators may also face a $600 fine. For more information, please visit the Town of Vegreville website at www.vegreville.com.
