Canada Post Proposes Raising Price Of Stamps in 2025

Canada Post is proposing to raise the price of most stamps by 25 cents, bringing the cost to $1.24 starting January 13th. The increase is aimed at covering the rising costs of providing mail service, as letter mail volumes have dropped by 60% over the past 20 years. Canada Post says the new rates could bring in an additional $80 million in 2025. This change would take effect after the holiday season if approved.
