Premier Danielle Smith Announces New School Projects Across The Province

Premier Danielle Smith announced new school projects during a televised address on Tuesday night, including a new K-12 school in Mallaig. The design phase for the school has been in progress for over a year, and full construction funding was just approved. Smith urged school boards and municipalities to quickly prepare school sites for construction. Other areas getting new schools include Calgary, Edmonton, and Wainwright. The new Mallaig school will be built on the same land as the current one, with space for 320 students.
